Congratulations to Marina Pietz (Cross Country) and Mark McClelland (Soccer) for being selected as the Riverview Athletic Department’s October Student Athlete of the Month.  Marina and Mark have been recognized by the Athletic Department for their hard work and dedication to their teams.

The Riverview Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country  teams recently participated in the 2018 PIAA State Cross Country Championships in Hershey.   The teams were one of three programs in the WPIAL, and one of four programs out of the 190 single A schools statewide, to have both their boys’ and girls’ teams qualify.   The

  Congratulations to the Girls Cross country for qualifying the 2018 State Cross country Championships.  The girls finished 4th out of 40 schools and were led by Marina Pietz,  17thand Ali Johnson, 31st –  who both met the individual state qualifying standard.  The girls qualifying performance included a dramatic comeback.  The team was in 9th place after the

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Cross Country team on advancing to the PIAA Championships in Hershey PA next week.  The girls finished 4th overall in 1A!

The Girls XC team finished 3rd overall and 1stamong single-A teams at the 25 school Freedom Invitational.  Award winners for Riverview included:  Marina Pietz, 15th;  Mikeala Collins, 21st;  Meredith Kocur, 25th and Aly Johnson, 27th. The Boys XC team finished 4th in their race and were led by award winners:  Mason Ochs , 10th;  Gideon Deasy,17th;  Lucas Wilton,22nd;
